Our Mission
At Impulse Defence, we believe every child deserves to feel confident, capable and prepared for the challenges of everyday life.
Our mission isn’t to teach children to fight, it’s to teach them how to avoid danger, recognise warning signs, set healthy boundaries and, if absolutely necessary, defend themselves to escape.
We believe confidence is one of the greatest forms of protection.
Approximately 85 per cent of Dubai residents are expats. Those of us born and raised elsewhere can appreciate the safe environment and acceptance of all nationalities that the UAE provides, but growing up in this environment can mean missing out on the instinctive situational awareness that develops naturally in other parts of the world.
I’ve spent over 20 years training in martial arts and personal safety, helping children, teenagers, parents and organisations build the confidence to stay safe.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of teaching hundreds of women and children across Dubai, including members of the UAE Royal Family. Every class combines practical self-defence with real-life safety education, empowering students with skills they’ll carry for life.
